Welcome to Some Crust Bakery! Some Crust Bakery has been Claremont’s Bakery for over 100 years. We are proudly an institution in the city of Claremont, a beautiful college town about 35 miles east of Los Angeles, nestled at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains and Mount Baldy. If you are looking for quality, hand-made baked goods, cakes, pies, cupcakes, bread, sandwiches, coffee, and so many other delicious treats, then you have come to the right place!

Attention Loyal Crustomers- This Saturday, October 26th is the annual Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire, from 9am until 5pm. Please come by and enjoy this annual tradition in the Claremont Village with us. Please note a couple of things about Village Venture- All of the streets in the "old" part of the Village will be entirely blocked off to traffic, so that means there will no parking anywhere near Some Crust. If you have an order to pick up that day from us, we HIGHLY suggest you pick it up on either Friday or Sunday. The nearest parking will be the parking structure off of 1st St. by the Packing House, or the Metrolink lot at 1st and College Ave. Those tend to fill up fast, so please be aware. Also, our Cafe side will be closed all of Saturday, and we will not be serving sliders or sandwiches. We will be selling selected cookies out of the front door of the Cafe, for those needing a quick cookie fix. Thanks, and we hope to see you Saturday!![]()

The 42nd Annual Village Venture Arts & Crafts Festival on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 9am to 5pm at the Claremont Village!
Attention Potential Crusties- Some Crust Bakery is looking for an experienced cake decorator to work full-time hours. Applicants must have availability during the week, weekends and holiday seasons, and must be able to start work in the early morning. We are looking for a decorator with proficiency in buttercream decoration and the ability to build and decorate single layered and multi-tier wedding and celebration cakes. Any experience in fondant decoration would be a plus. We ask that any interested decorators provide pictures or a portfolio of multi-sized cakes that they have previously decorated and a resume of previous work experience.
